Why I pirate and not afraid to.
Piracy. A word that's an enemy against big companies, entertainment industry and all alike.
To me, it's something I have to choose and prefer, because the option of doing it legally costs twice more than the origin of the product (for example, television, movies, music) or is restricted for people like me legally (see: Hulu, Netflix and etc).
People who are against piracy and believe ISP should be hold accountable for it, it's basically like saying a phone company should be at fault if two criminals who planned to rob a bank used mobile phones to communicate eachother. It's a dumb statement to begin with.
If getting access to all these movies, television and games the same prices and release date as the US at least we didn't have to pirate these things. Pay TV and free to air TV here is poor and outdated. Anything brand new is unavailable due to copyright restrictions that these big companies hold against non US citizens. PC games companies have learnt this and taking the best approach, having all games available for everyone around the world at the same or at least identical price! This is what other forms of entertainment should do, instead of suing customers or ordinary people just because they download a couple of copies of movies that's not available for release in their side of town.
So two big fingers at corporate companies who are small minded about the technology age.
