That I know is working during the public holiday period for December. Yes, that includes Boxing day, National wide public holiday after that, New Years Eve and New Years day. So I guess you could say I have killed off my own 2011?  Well, in my opinion hell no. Most countries don't have penalty rates, which is for those who work get 3x the hourly pay or in my case 1 day public holiday work = 3 days added to my annual leave. So in total, I would get 12 days annual leave for 4 days of work, that's simple awesome and what I intended. To hell getting drunk and wasted on New Year Eve where I've done that already in the past. I'm saving and gaining my annual leave for 2012, so in total, including 4 weeks leave, plus 12 days and if I plan to work in other upcoming public holidays, I'm heading to 6 weeks leave. You know me, I like to use it all at once, so yes for 2012, is going to be a big year for me as I have planned for, and hopefully it all goes well as planned.
